Weather forecast

Thank you for visiting our website. We are an ambitious club based in East Sussex.

Our 1st and 2nd XI's will be competing in the Sussex Cricket League Division 2 in 2009, after our inaugural year in the Sussex Cricket League in 2008 where both 1st and 2nd XI's won their respective leagues in Division 3 East. This is another exciting step for our cricket club and should prove to be a stepping stone towards our long term goal of competing against the top sides in Sussex.

Our 3rd and 4th XI's play in the East Sussex Cricket League and we also have a Sunday side which play friendlies. Each year we compete in the nPower National Village Cup which culminates in a final at Lords. We run Junior teams over a variety of age groups and are always looking to take new membership applications.

Glynde & Beddingham Cricket Club is one of an increasing number of focus cricket clubs in Sussex and indeed nationally to be recognized by the ECB as showing a high level of commitment to the welfare of all its members, particularly with regard to its junior players.

The award of the Clubmark Accreditation identifies that our Cricket Club is a well-managed and safe place for children to enjoy playing cricket. Parents/ Guardians can be assured that their children will, not only, be well looked after, but also receive high-quality training from ECB-registered Qualified coaches and assistants working in well-equipped facilities.

The cricket club forms an integral part of village life and many of our players either live in Glynde or were originally born in Glynde. The website address shown is for the village website www.glynde.co.uk
